Welcome, gentle reader, to Mrs.Bertin’s Jewelry Box, the home of pretty trinkets and witty thoughts.
On the pages of this lady’s journal I will touch upon such frivolous subjects as dress, art, history, literature and anything else that strikes my fancy. And while I may fail to educate or enlighten, I will, at least,always endeavor to amuse.
I will, at first, proceed with caution and timidity in this literary venture, as becomes a lady of quality. But once sufficiently embolden by experience and your approbation, I will not hesitate to dedicated many hours to my little journal.
